The “Self-Assessment” is the key starting point to my approach. This can be completed and submitted by any individual inside a company (or also individuals who may be working for themselves).
Typically, it would be completed by somebody representing the IT department, a CTO or if there are primarily only problems in one key area, then a representative of that department (i.e. a Test Manager).
If you are in charge of an IT department, I would also recommend you come up with a list of key stakeholders (such as the managers of your departments) to also complete the Self-Assessment.
Once submitted, the submission(s) will be reviewed and a summary report will be created. From here I would be more than happy to setup a call to discuss the findings further and talk about the next steps.
